On the back of this display, how on earth will we manage to win even a match at this world cup?
We did not attack, our defenders have tried, but our midfielders were mostly ball watching. Not marking and closing down the Argentines, for crying out loud, the boys in blue and white have been allowed to roam and control the midfield and dictate the pace of the game for far too long in the game.
Well, after watching the the South Korea v Greece, i feel we will still make it through.

I was completely surprised with the NFF's choice of Largerback as Nigeria coach, but lets take some positives from it.
Though Sweden did not qualify for the world cup, they have over the years played some very positive football. Lets hope that can be transmitted to the Super Eagles, we really need it.

With the draws now out yesterday, the spirit is high and making believe Africa can finally win it. Do you think Nigeria is in that mist?
I don't think so. We should be thinking of how to get the team qualify for the quarter final stages and forget about winning. That will be too much of a dream.

A great result for Manchester City, so one of the big boys have fallen to their buying power, but can they maintain the tempo?
If they can do it week-in-week-out, then they can get there.
Meanwhile, the game was marred by the Adebayo controversy.Did he deliberately stamp on Van Persie, and how about the way he celebrated after scoring the third goal, running the full length of the pitch to celebrate in front of the Arsenal fans.
Personally, i don't see why people are condemning him for the way he reacted after scoring the goal,he was only being a footballer. As for the stamping incident, i don't know.

Am pretty sure you folks know the scores of today's English Premier League matches.
Man U. were really awesome today crushing Wigan 5-0 to erase the memory of that shock mid-week defeat at Burnely.
I think Arsenal were also at their best demolishing Pompey by 4-1, and Man City also won today to prove that their close season spending is paying dividends.
Did i mention that Michael Owen scored United's fourth goal today? Personally i think Sir Alex should not have brought in Owen considering his injury prone nature, well, i will like to see him do very well for us, so i wait to see.

Oh yeah! I would have been surprised if it didn't happen that way you know. It was just a matter of time. I couldn't have tolerated the disappointment of not watching my dream final. Already Spain is out and i had dreamt of Brazil vs Spain final. Well thank God Brazil got there. Otherwise, i would have staged a boycott. LOL
Naija Fans Blog
